Vinegar for Face???

          Not just any vinegar but Apple Cider vinegar is said to have health benefits including that of skin! You might have noticed in my last post that I purchased a bottle of it from Swansonvitamins.com. The purchase followed my watching a DIY face-mask video on YouTube. After doing some research, I decided that the product is worth a try.
          Apple Cider vinegar is known to help with acne and age spots, the former of which I suffer from. It also helps with clearing up pores and blemishes giving your skin a smoother texture and complexion. When consumed, it may help with joint pain, stiffness, mild heartburn and even weight loss! Just make sure that you don't buy the clear vinegar that is common in the grocery stores for this, That's because clear vinegar is processed and distilled and thus stripped of most of its natural medicinal benefits. Make sure you are buying "Raw Apple Cider Vinegar", mine is made by BRAGG.
          Although, I do have to admit that this product doesn't smell very good. I tried it on my face and it wasn't the most pleasant 10 minutes of my life. That's why I was appalled when I read somewhere that it may be used as deodorant, SAY WHAT!!

Organic Goodies :)

          I've been interested in organic health and beauty products for as long as I can remember. It must be my Indian roots that fosters this to a good extent. To this day the first thoughts that come to my mind when I hear of any minor skin problems or other ailments are that of the leaves of Neem and Tulsi.
